Kendall offers a diverse array of student clubs, organizations and activities that offer a traditional college experience in the middle of a bustling city.
Take a look at these exciting organizations thriving at Kendall College:
Book Club
The Book Club is available to all members of the Kendall College Community. A book is chosen quarterly and the group meets quarterly to discuss themes and ideas within the text. Selections range from classics to pop culture and choices vary depending on the interests of the group.
Garden Club
The Garden Club of Kendall College meets in the Spring through Fall quarters. This club manages the planting, tending and harvesting of of our on-campus vegetable and herb garden. This club provides a great way to learn about restaurant gardens.
International Club
The International Club is devoted to enriching student life through sharing parts of cultures throughout the world represented within the Kendall community. The annual International Fair is one of highlights of the year and is extremely well attended.
Kendall College Marketing Club
The Kendall College Marketing Club is a college wide student centered organization which provides students with the contingency to establish a vast understanding of the marketing field.
Student Programming Board (SPB)
This club is dedicated to the involvement and interaction of students and the Kendall community. Members enjoy a variety of both indoor and outdoor events, ranging from rock climbing to performing arts. Students involved in this club should expect and appreciate good conversation, making new friends and playing an active role within the Kendall community.
National Society of Minorities in Hospitality (NSMH)
NSMH addresses diversity and multiculturalism, as well as the career development of student members. NSMH provides events and programs that bring together college-level students with company sponsors, industry representatives, other hospitality organizations, advisors and mentors and interested high-school students. These lessons are important for future leaders of the hospitality industry.
Student Government Federation (SGF)
Becoming involved in the SGF is a fantastic way to acquire leadership skills and have a voice in building and improving the campus community. SGF represents the student body on various committees and boards within the College, such as the Board of Trustees and Faculty Senate. The SGF works closely with the Office of Student Life & Leadership to sponsor trips and conferences for the student body.
Kendall Gamers
This club plans student activities relating to video games via differing gaming systems. The club's main mission is to offer stress relieving activities and social gatherings to all students on campus.
Kendall Ladies
This group strives to help develop students into working professionals. They attempt this by coordinating community service opportunities within both Kendall College and Chicago as a whole. This club also encourages networking between other students and clubs on campus.
Latinos Juntos
Latinos Juntos promotes knowledge of the variety and richness of Latino culture through events on and off campus. This club meets weekly on campus and invites members from all cultural backgrounds to take an active part in the group.
